The Red Hat build of Keycloak offers a new era of identity and access management. This product is based on the Keycloak project, which enables you to secure your web applications by providing web single sign-on (SSO) capabilities based on OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and SAML 2.0. The release of this product replaces any plans for a future single sign-on (8.0 or higher) feature release.

While preserving the power and functionality of single sign-on, the Red Hat build of Keycloak is faster, more flexible, and efficient. For example:

  • This product uses a streamlined distribution model based on Red Hat build of Quarkus.
  • Getting started is simpler than with single sign-on; you choose from multiple configuration source instead of editing XML files.
  • Interactive command-line help supplements documentation for quick answers to questions.
